Quincy Eats ("we", "us") is a local food ordering, delivery and restaurant point-of-sale service based in Quincy, Massachusetts. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Order details: what you order, special instructions, pickup or delivery address, and order history.
Payment details: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Account details: if you create an account, your login information and preferences, including loyalty or rewards balances.
Technical details: basic information your browser or device sends, such as IP address and device type, used to run and secure the service. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies, to understand how visitors use our website.

To take, prepare, deliver and support your orders.
To send order and account messages by text or email.
To run loyalty and rewards programs you take part in.
To prevent fraud and keep the service secure.
To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the service:

With the restaurant that prepares your order, and the driver who delivers it.
With service providers who work for us, such as payment processing (Stripe), text messaging, email delivery and hosting. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, partners or Quincy Eats.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we send texts about your orders and account. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. How long we keep it

We keep order and account records as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account information, subject to records we must keep.

Your choices

Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email.
Ask to see, correct or delete your information by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Quincy Eats is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
